On the morning of January 3, several parts of the UAE experienced light rain and cloudy conditions.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy conditions for today, with occasional rain expected in some northern, eastern, and coastal areas.
Humidity is expected to increase overnight and into the morning of January 4 in certain inland regions.
The NCM also noted that winds will range from light to moderate but may occasionally intensify, causing dust. The northwesterly winds are expected to blow at speeds of 15 to 30 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 40 km/h.
The Arabian Gulf is predicted to have rough to moderate seas, while the Oman Sea will have moderate to slight waves.
Motorists are being urged to exercise extra caution while driving in the rain. In response to the weather conditions, Dubai Police has issued a warning on X, advising drivers to be extra careful to ensure safety on the roads.
