Due to airspace restrictions in some regions of the Middle East, Etihad Airways is adjusting the routes of several flights on Saturday, October 26, as confirmed by an airline spokesperson.
"This is an urgent situation, and the airline is continuously monitoring updates related to security and airspace. This is likely to result in some disruptions and delays for various flights over the next 48 hours," the spokesperson remarked.
"Customers are encouraged to verify the status of their flights at etihad.com. Etihad Airways flights will only operate within designated approved airspace. The safety of our passengers and crew is our highest priority, and we will not operate a flight unless it is considered safe to do so," he added.
