Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, makes announcement about New Year holiday
Tuesday January 1 will be a public holiday for the private sector in the UAE to mark the New Year, according to a circular issued by Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
Earlier on Thursday, the UAE’s Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced the New Year’s holiday for the public sector on its Twitter handle.
In a tweet, the government entity said that “with regards to the federal government sector, all ministries and federal entities will be closed for the occasion of New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2019.”
