Sharjah Declares New Year's Holiday

The Sharjah Department of Human Resources has announced that Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, will be observed as a public holiday in celebration of the New Year. 

Consequently, all government offices in Sharjah will remain closed on this day and will resume operations on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025. However, employees who work in shifts may be subject to different work schedules.

In light of the New Year celebration, the department extends its heartfelt wishes to the leadership, government, and residents of the United Arab Emirates, expressing hope for a year filled with health, happiness, success, and numerous achievements for everyone living in the country. This gesture reflects the shared values of prosperity and unity as the nation welcomes the new beginnings of 2025.
