Yasalam Festival expanded ahead of Abu Dhabi's F1 weekend
Live Across the City has been added to the 10-day calendar of festivities as part of Yasalam Festival in November
Abu Dhabi is set to become a hive of high octane activity as Flash Entertainment expands the line-up for this year's Yasalam Festival, which counts down to the emirate's Formula 1 racing weekend in November.
Live Across the City has been added to the 10-day calendar of festivities, supported by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, which celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Kicking off on Friday November 16, the Yasalam Live Across the City activation will see a flurry of free activity that will celebrate the key pillars of music and motorsports as the F1 weekend gears up.
Across the 10-day period, events will include a car parade on November 16 featuring various vintage and modern cars and a decorative float hosting performers and a DJ.
Pit Stop at A’l Bahar Corniche from November 16-25 features an activation village with local bands and DJs daily while Super Taxis from November 22–25 will offer Yasalam fans an A-list experience of being ferried to their desired location across the city in the likes of a Lamborghini, Maserati, Corvette, Bentley, Rolls Royce and Mercedes.
This year's Yasalam After Hours line-up includes American hip hop star Post Malone, Canadian superstar The Weeknd, UK hitmaker Sam Smith and rock legends Guns ‘N Roses.
John Lickrish, CEO at Flash Entertainment, said: “We created the incredible Yasalam After-Race Concerts 10 years ago, and throughout that time have seen the festival evolve to the global attraction that it is today.
"As organisers it gives us great pride to see the concept theme emulated across other race host cities globally, a true testament to the quality of entertainment we have provided to residents across the city and international guests.”
