Dubai police have confiscated 33 vehicles in various areas of the emirate for committing serious traffic violations, including drifting and racing in unauthorized places, as well as reckless driving, posing a danger to themselves and others.
Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, director of the Dubai Police Traffic Directorate General, said that measures to combat unruly drivers were taken in response to reports they received from residents about some reckless drivers committing serious traffic violations and moving in the opposite direction to traffic on different roads, including Jebel Ali - Lehbab Road, Jumeirah Road and the First Al-Hail Road.

He urged motorists to follow the rules of the road, pointing out that there are specially designated places for drifters where you can perform these tricks.
Al Mazroui also urged the public to report violations, reckless behavior and traffic violations to the police using the "We are all Police Officers" program via the Dubai Police app or by calling the Dubai Police Call Center 901.
