Ministry of Health and Prevention says new infections bring total number of cases in the UAE to 198
The UAE on Monday reported 45 new coronavirus cases, the highest single-day increase since the start of the outbreak.
The new cases bring the total number of infections in the UAE to 198, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) which added that the patients were stable and receiving treatment.

One of the cases reportedly occurred outside the country involving an individual who didn’t follow home quarantine and infected 17 people with direct contact.
The ministry also announced three more recoveries, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 41 cases.
