Sharjah Begins Construction of New Mosque in Al Rahmaniyah’s Kshisha1 Area
In swift compliance with the directives of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Islamic Affairs (SIA) has launched the construction of a new mosque in the Kshisha1 district of Al Rahmaniyah.
The initiative follows a request made during the "Direct Line" program on Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, where a resident highlighted the community's need for a mosque. Demonstrating rapid responsiveness, SIA’s specialized teams began work within a month, collaborating with authorities to finalize the design, land preparation, and construction phases.
The mosque will adhere to Sharjah’s architectural standards, balancing capacity, functionality, and Islamic aesthetics. This project reflects Sheikh Sultan’s commitment to addressing residents' needs and fostering a spiritually cohesive community.
The SIA emphasized that the mosque aligns with Sharjah’s strategic distribution of mosques, ensuring accessibility while enhancing the emirate’s urban and religious landscape.
