The Integrated Transport Center (ITC), affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport, announced the opening of several roads with new signalized intersections on Al Rim Island, starting on Saturday, August 13, to serve the public and increase traffic flow and road safety.
ITC also announced the partial closure of five separate roads for improvement. These include Abu Dhabi - Al Ain Road (E22) - Abu Dhabi, which will be partially closed until Sunday, August 14, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (E10), Al Makta Bridge and Al Falah Street, which will be partially closed until Monday, August 15, and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street, which will be partially closed until Friday, August 19.
ITC urged road users to take precautions and follow road safety instructions during road closures on main and side streets and ongoing landscaping work. He also urged them to slow down on roads where construction work is underway to avoid accidents.
