DTC and EVS sign landmark EV maintenance agreement
The Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has signed a strategic agreement with Electric Vehicle Services (EVS) to provide end-to-end maintenance for its fleet of electric taxis and limousines. The deal covers 440 vehicles across multiple EV brands, strengthening Dubai’s push towards sustainable and future-ready mobility.
The agreement was formalised at DTC’s headquarters by Ammar Albreiki, COO of DTC, and Saeed Al Junaibi, CEO of EVS, in the presence of senior officials.
Comprehensive support for 440 electric vehicles
The partnership will ensure regular and specialised servicing, including:
- High-voltage battery diagnostics
- Motor and drivetrain servicing
- Thermal management systems maintenance
- Advanced software updates
- Drivetrain recalibration
This framework aims to extend vehicle lifespans, boost reliability, and maintain peak fleet performance as DTC accelerates its clean mobility transition.
Leaders highlight sustainability and resilience
Ammar Albreiki, COO of DTC, said:

Aligned with UAE’s Net Zero 2050 goals
The collaboration supports both Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 target by:
- Reducing carbon emissions
- Enhancing fleet resilience
- Encouraging wider adoption of EVs across the public transport sector
EVS, the UAE’s first dedicated EV maintenance centre, currently services brands such as Tesla, Lucid, Polestar, Rivian, and BYD. The company said the deal with DTC represents a new benchmark in fleet partnerships focused on innovation and sustainability.
