The Dubai Metro was hit by technical issues in both directions
The Dubai Metro has been hit by technical issues leading to disruption.
The Roads and Transport Authority issued an alert to passengers on Wednesday evening, informing them of disrupted travel.
To accommodate passengers the RTA has provided buses to transport passengers to their destination.
Dubai Metro technical issues
The disruptions have hit the Max Station near Zabeel Park. The station sits on the Metro’s Red Line.
A statement from the RTA said: “For #DubaiMetro Red line users, #RTA informs you that the Metro service at ‘Max station’ has been disrupted due to a technical issue in both directions, buses have been provided to transport passengers.
“We thank you for your understanding and cooperation”.
Last week Metro passengers were told to use a bus service following a technical fault at the GGICO station.
