Abu Dhabi Police Fulfills Young Emirati’s Dream of Becoming a Police Officer
In a heartwarming gesture, Abu Dhabi Police fulfilled the dream of young Emirati Nasser Mohammed by allowing him to become a police officer for a day and join the Happiness Patrol.
This inspiring initiative, conducted in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, Al Nahyaniya School, Al Tafawuq School, and the Aoun Student Crescent Team, aligns with the goals of the Year of Community — a national initiative aimed at fostering stronger social bonds and shared values among generations.
?✈️ Colonel Saeed Ali Al Hassani, Deputy Director of Security Patrols in Al Ain, emphasized that the program promotes inclusivity, belonging, and a culture of shared responsibility in line with the Abu Dhabi Police's broader community happiness strategy.
Little Nasser proudly wore a real police uniform, provided with the help of Mariam Al Dhaheri, an administrator at Al Nahyaniya School, and experienced first-hand the duties of an officer by touring with the Happiness Patrol.
His day also included a visit to the Al Murabba Police Museum, where he explored the history of the Abu Dhabi Police, admired past uniforms, and learned about the force’s evolution and legacy of public service.
