Steve Madden has relocated its Dubai Mall store, making it the company's largest outside of its home market
US footwear brand Steve Madden has relocated its Dubai Mall store, making it the company's largest outside of its home market.
The opening of the 4,000 square feet store coincided with the launch of the brand’s spring-summer 2019 collection.
The company said the move signals Steve Madden’s increasing confidence in the Dubai market and a boost to its regional expansion.
Ian Funk, president – international sales, Steve Madden said “Our new location in the Dubai Mall is a core component of our company’s long-term brand strategy in the Middle East. We are thrilled with the outcome and expect great results."
Dinesh Shahani, chief operating officer, Landmark Group, the franchise operator, added: “We are very happy to open the largest Steve Madden store outside North America in The Dubai Mall. There are special feature areas and interactive zones that will enhance our customer experience tremendously."
Steve Madden currently has 19 stores in the UAE and a total of 39 outlets in the GCC region.
