A police lieutenant said he nabbed the accused from Ajman.
An unemployed man, who stole Dh 70,000 worth of electric cables with the aid of accomplices, was charged in the Court of First Instance on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old Pakistani is also accused of stealing drilling material and equipment. His accomplices had been previously charged in the present case, which dates back to October 2, 2014.
A police lieutenant said he nabbed the accused from Ajman. Some of them admitted to stealing the cables from a warehouse in Al Qusais after breaking in with sharp tools.
They had come from Sharjah Industrial area and brought a pick-up truck in which they transported the stolen wares.
The complainant, who owned the advertising company, said he discovered the theft around 8:00am. In addition to the stolen cables, drilling material worth Dh20,000 was also stolen. He added that he last checked the warehouse two days before the robbery.
The court will pronounce a ruling on March 7.
