LuLu Exchange and Al Ansari – two of UAE’s leading exchange houses are accompanied in this list by exchange companies from Qatar, Oman and Kuwait
UAE - In recognition of the UAE's powerful cross-border payments sector, striving for digital transformation and world-class regulation, two leading UAE exchanges – LuLu Exchange and Al Ansari Exchange - were included in the latest Forbes list of "Top 5 exchange offices of the Persian Gulf countries Transitioning to Digital Technologies".
This list draws attention to money transfer companies in the Persian Gulf region that are actively promoting the digitization of their services in line with the efforts of their respective countries.
Kuwait's Al Mulla Exchange, Qatar's Alfardan Exchange and Oman's Purshottam Kanji Exchange are other companies on this list.
All five companies on the list are outdated institutions that have been providing high-quality services to both retail consumers and businesses for several years. They've been in the news lately thanks to their aggressive digital promotion and investments in digital infrastructure. The companies were evaluated by Forbes by the number of application downloads, the number of users and the annual volume of transactions conducted in digital format.
The LuLu Money app and the Al Ansari Exchange app, the eponymous digital products of companies based in the UAE, have made a significant contribution to the national vision of a seamless and reliable digital money transfer ecosystem.
Both companies serve millions of customers in the UAE and are investing heavily in building a modern digital infrastructure to drive their next phase of growth.
