The man who has made 9 years ago a departure from the UAE to Thailand according to the passport of the brother has appeared before the court of Dubai.
A wanted Emirati man went on trial in Dubai's Court of First Instance for allegedly using his brother's passport to travel.
According to case papers, earlier 37-year-old man was put on the wanted list by the authorities, and its passport was withdrawn. However it didn't prevent it to take off in 2007 from the international airport of Dubai for Thailand by means of the passport of the brother.
The claimant 41-year emiratets who reported that in the evening, on May 24, 2007, it couldn't find the passport which left in the machine near the house earlier appeared in court. Next day he learned that his brother stole the passport and used it for crossing of border.
During the investigation the defendant was recognized that he decided to leave the country, but couldn't as his passport was withdrawn. For this reason he stole documents of the brother and purchased the flight ticket. It departed to Thailand where lived within three years. Then he decided to return, having been for this purpose in Embassy of the UAE in Thailand.
It isn't specified why a lot of time was required to bring the matter to court.
