The CEO of the International airport of Dubai predicts that the airport within the next four years will be able to bypass Beijing and Atlanta, having become the most loaded air complex in the world.
Paul Griffits, the CEO of the airport of Dubai, for Bloomberg of TV said in an interview that, according to its forecasts, this year passability of the airport will increase up to 83 million in comparison with 78 million visitors last year, and by the end of the next year will exceed a mark of 90 million people. Such rates by 2020 Dubai will be able to brag of the most loaded airport in the world.
Now the complex is in the third place in the list of the international business airports on a passenger traffic after Beijing and Altanta.
"Growth rates which we fix now it is twice more, than now are registered in Beijing and Atlanta" — declared Griffits.
According to him, the Asian market purchases the increasing value for the airport of Dubai against the background of the expected 1,3 billion annual passenger traffic in the region in 2034. The arrangement of Dubai connecting east part of the world to western can become the main source of growth.
"We do everything for implementation of our plans for development of the airport which will demand about $30 billion within the next 20 years that our infrastructure allowed us to use this growth" — he told.
Speaking about improvements, Griffits noticed that they are concentrated on acceleration of processes by means of technologies and increase in the service level.
