The inaugural European Tour event on 15-18 February is a fun day out for all!
All eyes are on Oman as Al Mouj Muscat gears up to welcome more than 5,000 golfing enthusiasts to the NBO Oman Open, the country’s debut European Tour event. From 15-18 February 2018 residents and visitors are being offered free entry to watch their favourite elite players battle it out for the coveted title during the four-day golfing gathering at Al Mouj Golf in Muscat, following the official opening ceremony which takes place on 13 February.
The first ever NBO Oman Open which is part of the Race to Dubai, will be screened across 490 million homes in more than 150 countries. As the world tunes in to watch 138 of the best golf pros compete at Al Mouj Golf, residents and visitors will be able to walk around the course at their leisure, to watch the action up close and personal.
Ahead of the event, Mubarak Hill, Club Manager of Al Mouj Golf, commented: “A successful sporting event is as much about the spectators and the incredible atmosphere afforded by their support, than it is about the tournament itself. We hope to see both keen golf fans as well as novices looking to enjoy this unmissable weekend of golf.”
Spectators can miss the traffic and leave their cars at home by making the most of the free ‘stop and ride’ shuttle service. It will run from the Al Mouj Muscat Marina car park to Al Mouj Golf with a bus leaving on the hour from 8am-5pm.
