Description
A multi-national construction company looking for Structural Modellers with 5 to 7 years of experience in the middle East for their projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Purpose of job: Efficient modelling of engineering and construction requirements for projects in REVIT and other advanced BIM related software to realize the associated benefits in project development and execution, and to progressively improve modelling outputs.
Key activities / Result areas:
• Produce 2D/3D/4D drawings & models to required level of detail (LOD) based on project and phase requirements to ensure fit for purpose visualization of the project and tasks at hand – sequence of work, specific details, 4D applications as necessary.
• Understand the internal and external client requirements and deliver professional outputs to meet the requirements. Where identified, clarify and resolve queries and issues to meet deliverable time & quality.
• Use the technology provided to prepare material take-offs (MTO/ QTO) taking account of all component parts required to support the estimate and project with traceable outputs.
• Advances the modelling capability in the area of work seeking opportunities for improvement towards meeting company, project, team and individual goals.
Education & Qualifications:
• Diploma in Drafting/Visualisation, Diploma in Engineering, or similar is preferred.
• Expert in use of Revit, Autodesk Infra, Navisworks, Synchro, 3DStudio, Inventor (all considered).
• In-depth knowledge of the process for development of 3D and 4D drawings.
