Dubai Ruler becomes most followed LinkedIn Influencer in the Middle East and Africa region
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has become the second most followed Global Political Leader in LinkedIn’s influencer programme, as his follower count reached two million, according to the professional networking platform.
The Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai is now one of the top thirty most followed LinkedIn influencers across the globe. He is also the most followed LinkedIn Influencer in the Middle East and Africa region.
LinkedIn Influencer is an invitation-only programme that includes the world’s top 500 foremost thinkers, political leaders, CEOs and innovators.
As an influencer, Sheikh Mohammed features along-side prominent figures such as Narendra Modi, Bill Gates, Richard Branson and Ariana Huffington.
Sheikh Mohammed is known for regularly posting strategic developments, high-profile meetings, delegation visits and key announcements on his profile, where his posts garner a large number of engagements, particularly from the UAE, India, Egypt, US and Saudi Arabia respectively.
