Sheikh Mohamed and Putin Inaugurate Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Education Centre in Moscow

On Monday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin officially opened the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Education Centre at Primakov School in Moscow during Sheikh Mohamed’s official visit to Russia.

Key Highlights of the Inauguration:

• The centre focuses on Arabic language education, history, culture, arts, and STEM fields, fostering bilateral cooperation in education.
• Primakov School, known for developing intellectual and creative skills, offers scholarships to talented students from 50 Russian regions.
• Dr. Sergey Kravtsov, Russia’s Minister of Education, emphasized the school’s goal of cultivating high achievers.
• UAE Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber highlighted the deep educational ties between the UAE and Russia, reinforcing leadership commitment.
• The centre is named after Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, the "Mother of the Nation," in recognition of her global contributions to education.
• Sheikh Mohamed and Putin toured the facility, engaging with students and teachers, and praised the initiative as a reflection of the strong UAE-Russia partnership.

UAE-Russia Educational Collaboration

• The school features plaques with inspirational quotes from Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Putin, emphasizing education and future development.
• Primakov School is named after Yevgeny Primakov, former Russian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
• The Russian School in Abu Dhabi, developed in partnership with Primakov School, was inaugurated in 2022 as the first Russian educational institution in the UAE.
