Funeral prayers were held at Zabeel Grand Mosque in Dubai after the afternoon prayers for the late Dubai Police Chief Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina.
Leading the prayers was His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai accompanied by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Maktoum bin Mohammed; and Minister of Interior, Saif Bin Zayed.
After the funeral prayers, Al Mazeina's body was taken to its final resting place in Al Qusais.
