Emirates NBD and Emirates Skywards launch the Emirates NBD Skywards Savings Account and Visa Debit Card
Emirates NBD and Emirates Skywards, the loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai, launched the Emirates NBD Skywards Savings Account and Visa Debit Card, the UAE’s first banking solution to earn Skywards Miles.
Targeting the affluent and Priority Banking segments, the Emirates NBD Skywards Savings Account and Visa Debit Card offers customers the opportunity to earn up to 5 Skywards Miles for every US dollar of spend, based on their savings account balance.
Customers can redeem their Miles for an extensive range of rewards, including flights with Emirates, flydubai and other partner airlines, flight upgrades, hotel accommodation, excursions and shopping.
Suvo Sarkar, senior executive vice president and group head – Retail, Banking and Wealth Management, Emirates NBD, said: “We are pleased to bring to market the Emirates NBD Skywards Savings Account and Visa Debit Card, an innovative banking solution."
He said spending on the bank's debit cards continue to grow well at over 15 percent per annum led by the travel sector, adding that the new program will help customers earn higher rewards on their spends while encouraging them to save more.
The Emirates NBD Skywards Savings Account and Visa Debit Card also offers customers up to 50,000 bonus Skywards Miles, complimentary Emirates Skywards Silver membership and free access to over 900 airport lounges via LoungeKey.
