Dubai’s Nakheel has launched a construction tender for the latest stage of its expansion of Ibn Battuta Mall, Zawya projects reported.
Located southwest of the existing mall, the “E5” expansion will include a new cinema complex and a 1,376-space multi-storey car park constructed on a built-up area of 65,950 square metres.
Tender documents can be collected for a non-refundable fee of 15,000 UAE dirhams ($4,087) starting from Dec 21. The final submission date is Jan. 18.
In May, Nakheel opened a 300,000 square foot (27,781 square metre) extension at Ibn Battuta Mall, the first phase of a planned 4.7 million square foot expansion that will ultimately include two hotels and the cinema complex.
