Light plane crashes off Ras Al Khaimah’s coast killing its pilot and his companion

A light aircraft, belonging to Al Jazira Air Sports Club, crashed into the sea off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah, resulting in the death of its pilot and his companion.

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has stated that the Air Accident Investigation Sector at the Authority received a report regarding the incident, indicating that investigative work is ongoing to ascertain the causal factors.

The GCAA extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families and loved ones of the two victims.
