Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) is investing Dhs90m in the second phase of its Logistics Park, adding 360,000 sq. ft. of Grade-A facilities. This expansion aligns with the UAE’s goal of growing its logistics sector to Dhs200bn annually within seven years, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global trade hub.
Phase 2 will feature modern offices, customizable units, temperature-controlled warehouses, loading docks, and enhanced power capacity, catering to industries like e-commerce, manufacturing, and freight forwarding. The project builds on the success of Phase 1, which was fully leased before completion, proving the strong demand for high-quality logistics solutions.
With the Middle East and Africa’s freight and logistics market expected to reach $235.8bn by 2031, Jafza’s expansion meets the increasing demand for advanced warehousing. The park connects seamlessly to Jebel Ali Port, offering contract logistics, freight forwarding, and real-time inventory tracking.
Jafza currently hosts 10,890 companies from 150 countries, supporting 160,000+ jobs and contributing Dhs620bn in trade annually. The park also incorporates sustainable design elements, minimizing environmental impact with energy-efficient solutions.
