VkusVill currently has more than 1,350 stores in 70 cities across CIS and China, besides over 120 dark stores, a mobile app, and an online store
The Dubai-based quick commerce marketplace YallaMarket and its business vertical YallaHub entered into a partnership deal to launch the international health food brand VkusVill in the UAE market.
The deal will make available a wide range of VkusVill products, including baby food, drinks, chocolate, sweets, jam, spreads, and crisp bread in Dubai.
Among the most popular products of VkusVill, a food brand known for healthy and nutritious values, are creamy waffles, raspberry confiture, cocoa toffee, milk chocolate with mango, dragée “Paradise Almonds”, sunflower seed halva “Airy”, caviar mushrooms and puree of pear, banana and kiwi.
The Russian company’s products will be available to customers in the YallaMarket app and in other popular marketplaces and aggregators such as Noon, Deliveroo, NowNow, Careem, and Talabat, YallaMarket said in a statement.
The UAE is the first international market where VkusVill is expanding, after it launched its products in China and the CIS region last year.
Leo Dovbenko, CEO and Co-Founder of YallaMarket and YallaHub, said the platform was thrilled to announce the partnership with a large international health brand like VkusVill.
“With YallaMarket and YallaHub, we’d like to help businesses like VkusVill by giving customers access to all that matters to them reliably, while letting them focus on what they do best by using our innovative technology and ultra-fast delivery,” Dovbenko said.
He said the venture was helping e-commerce businesses to enter and scale across the MENA region without investments for capital expenditure.
Victoria Pinchuk, export leader at VkusVill, said: “We know from customer feedback that we are welcome in different parts of the world. That’s why we’re working on expanding the availability of quality products and testing new platforms every day.”
He said the company was delighted to announce the launch sales of its products in the UAE in collaboration with YallaMarket and YallaHub.
“YallaMarket and YallaHub will enable us to be more accessible and expand our delivery footprint in Dubai, providing seamless customer service at the same time”, Pinchuk said.
VkusVill currently has more than 1,350 stores in 70 cities across CIS and China, besides over 120 dark stores, a mobile app, and an online store.
YallaMarket is an ultra-fast delivery service platform for groceries and household goods.
The startup, founded in August 2021, by a team of Dubai-based food tech entrepreneurs, has so far raised more than $12 million from Wamda Capital, Doha tech Angels, Fry One Ventures, and Dubai Angel Investors.
Since its launch, the service has introduced over 100 brands in the UAE market, including cosmetics, personal care, food products, accessories, and small electronics items.
They include Pusy Beauty (cosmetics), Minimalist (jewellery), and Biocera (health and wellness), among others.
