Seven Tides has appointed a Spanish operator to manage a five-star hotel in Dubai.
The developer of luxury residential and hotel real estate Seven Tides has approved the Spanish company Barceló Hotel Group as the new operator of its five-star hotel DUKES Dubai, located on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
The hotel will be renamed DUKES Dubai-Royal Hideaway Hotel and will be the first hotel in the region under the Royal Hideaway Luxury Hotels & Resorts brand.
Spanish hotel group commenced its work after the signing of a management agreement between the General Director of Seven Tides, Abdulla bin Sulayem and chief Director of development, Barceló Hotel Group Jaime Bukso.
Abdullah bin Sulayem stressed that Barceló Hotel Group is a dynamic and flexible hotel company that operates 249 hotels and luxury international resorts in 22 countries. The group also has a division that includes 700 travel agencies on four continents.
Barceló Hotel Group, founded in 1931, is the third largest network in Spain and the 29th in the international market. Currently, it manages 54 thousand rooms.

DUKES Dubai offers 279 rooms, including 64 stylish suites and a floor reserved for women only, as well as 287 fully furnished hotel apartments.
The hotel offers state-of-the-art leisure and conference facilities, including a stunning private beach, an indoor pool, an outdoor infinity pool and a state-of-the-art gym, as well as six unique restaurants.
