With the return of service to Stansted, Emirates has expanded its flights to London, operating nine daily flights, including six daily flights to Heathrow and a double daily flight to Gatwick.
UAE - Emirates has resumed passenger services to London Stansted (STN), serving its third London gate with a daily flight, and has put forward plans to increase capacity from five-week flights to daily flights from today (August 1).
With the return of service to Stansted, Emirates has expanded its flights to London, operating nine daily flights, including six daily flights to Heathrow and a double daily flight to Gatwick.* Additional services will meet market demand and offer customers more travel opportunities and improved connectivity this summer.
London Stansted will be served by an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER wide-body aircraft equipped with its famous first-class product ’Game Changer'. Emirates Flight EK65 will depart Dubai at 08:50 and arrive at London Stansted at 13:30 local time. The return flight EK68 will depart from London Stansted at 21:10 and arrive in Dubai at 7:10 local time the next day.
London Stansted remains a key hub for the airline's passenger and cargo operations. The daily service will offer customers in the East and South-East of the UK more travel options, flexibility and convenience when traveling with Emirates to more than 130 destinations via Dubai.
Emirates currently operates seven gateways in the UK. By October 2022, the airline will serve the country with 110 weekly flights, including: six times a day to London Heathrow; daily flights to London Stansted; twice a day A380 to Gatwick; three times a day to Manchester, including twice a day A380 (starting from October 1, 2022); twice a day to Birmingham; five weekly flights to Newcastle; and a daily flight to Glasgow.
Currently, the airline also serves London Gatwick with three daily flights until August 3, 2022. The additional frequency is designed to meet customer demand and accommodate passengers affected by the change in flight capacity from London Heathrow Airport.
