Dubai's Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) said it has awarded a contract worth Dh500 million ($121 million) for the Al Khawaneej Corridor Improvement Project.
The project covers the construction of three main junctions at Al Khawneej and Al Amardi Streets and service roads extending 23 km, said a statement from RTA.
It will also link Al Awir and Al Khawaneej areas and improves accessibility to Airport Street, it added.
