Initiative championed by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan will take place from October 18 to November 16
Dubai Fitness Challenge, the city’s flagship fitness initiative championed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, returns for its third edition from October 18 to November 16.
Featuring a 30-day calendar of active events, sports, health and wellness programmes and more, Dubai’s residents and visitors will be encouraged to stay active throughout the month.
Created to inspire Dubai to get fitter as a lifestyle choice for all, the challenge celebrates inclusivity – a movement for all ages, abilities, interests and fitness levels.
2018 saw a 34 percent increase in participation from the 2017 launch, surpassing a million registered festival entrants.
Dubai Fitness Challenge aims to break the 1 million mark again in 2019, a statement said.
In addition to fitness activities, the event will place an elevated focus on health and wellness as part of its holistic offering this year.
Further details including registration details and the full line-up for Dubai Fitness Challenge will be released in the coming weeks. Participants are encouraged to set goals prior to the kick-off and to track their personal progress on the App. For further information, please visit www.dubaifitnesschallenge.com.
