Dubai’s Maktoum Bridge will be partially closed for six days a week during Holy month
Dubai’s RTA has announced the partial closure of Maktoum Bridge throughout Ramadan.
The RTA has advised motorists to use alternative routes when crossing the Creek as the major bridge is due to close for six days a week during the holy month.
Announcing the closure, effective immediately, the RTA said Al Maktoum Bridge would close from 1am to 6am on Mondays to Saturdays during the month of Ramadan.

During the closures the RTA suggests motorists cross at:
- Al Garhoud Bridge
- Business Bay Bridge
- Al Shindagha Tunnel
- The Infinity Bridge
Check out the alternative routes to easily reach your destination, coinciding with the closure of Al Maktoum Bridge as of Thursday, March 30, from Mondays to Saturdays, 6 days per week, during the month of Ramadan from 1:00 am to 6:00 am.

Maktoum Bridge is one of six road crossings across the Creek and the first to be built in the city. When it first opened in 1963 it was a convenient way to cross the Creek without needing an abra.
