Supermarkets and pharmacies to remain open at Yas Mall, World Trade Center Abu Dhabi, Shams Boutik at Al Reem Island, and Al Jimi Mall and Remal Mall in Al Ain
Aldar Properties will close all malls in its portfolio from tomorrow, March 24, following the directive issued by the UAE Government close all commercial centres for a renewable two-week period.
The malls set to close include Yas Mall, World Trade Center Abu Dhabi (WTC), Shams Boutik at Al Reem Island, and Al Jimi Mall and Remal Mall in Al Ain.
In keeping with the directive, supermarkets, hypermarkets and pharmacies are excluded from the closures and will remain open during the period, while F&B outlets will be restricted to home deliveries only.
Aldar said it is working closely with its business partners to ensure their long-term viability.
"Ensuring the health and safety of its customers, communities, staff and partners remains the utmost priority of Aldar," it said in a statement.
"The company will continue to work closely with all relevant authorities to ensure the effective implementation of all directives issued by the Government," the statement added.
