The authorities of Abu Dhabi have expanded the "green" list of countries for travel.
The Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi has updated the so-called "green" list of countries: travelers arriving from them do not need to comply with mandatory quarantine after landing at the capital's airport.
Meanwhile, tourists and residents are not exempt from PCR testing for the COVID-19 coronavirus upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The department clarified that we are talking about the countries from which tourists come, and not about the countries of their citizenship.
The list was compiled based on the results of monitoring the epidemiological situation in different countries of the world and will be constantly updated in the future. Currently, the green list includes: Australia, Bahrain, Brunei, China, the Falkland Islands, Greenland, Hong Kong, Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Thailand.
Travelers arriving from the "green" list countries must take tests at the Abu Dhabi airport upon arrival, as well as 6 days after entering the territory of the capital emirate. At the same time, they are exempt from passing quarantine if the test results are negative.
Travelers arriving from all other countries must take a PCR test on arrival, on the eighth day after entering the territory of Abu Dhabi, as well as undergo a mandatory 10-day quarantine.
Residents who have come into close contact with COVID-19 infected people must be self-isolated for five days and take a PCR test on day 4. If the test results are negative, the quarantine will be terminated.
