Start your tour from Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood as you explore one of the oldest areas of Dubai with your guide. Stroll along its narrow streets, and admire sand-colored houses topped with wind towers.
As you listen to your guide tell local stories about the quarter, make your way to the Coffee Museum. Here, learn about the world's history of coffee. Taste traditional Ethiopian or Turkish coffee prepared by the staff in traditional clothing.
Next, head to the Dubai Museum. Hear more about the city's old economy and how life was before oil was discovered. Continue on to the Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House to show artifacts from Dubai's history.
Next, ride an abra across Dubai Creek to admire Deira's high rises from the water. Step into the narrow alleyways of Deira's covered souks. Check out the outlets selling spices, souvenirs, gold and silver. Learn how to bargain from your local guide.
At the end of the tour, either go to the Al Ras Metro Station or stay at the souk if you want to do some more shopping.
