Villamore, a unique Mediterranean restaurant
The Mediterranean restaurant Villamoré in Emerald Palace Kempinski has every chance to become the most fashionable coastal restaurant this season. Beautiful views of the Palm Jumeirah lagoon, freshly caught sea delicacies and a pleasant atmosphere-it seems that you have come on vacation to the Cote d'azur.
A separate two-storey building, Villamoré, stands on the hotel's territory next to the beach. Bleached walls decorated in a nautical style, striped awnings, comfortable white tables on the terrace and an open roof on the second floor, where it is so pleasant to see off the sunset. Great place for Instagram photos!
The cuisine is inspired by Italy, France and Spain. Start with the antipasti room (90 dirhams per person), where you'll probably get a full plate of cold appetizers, sausages, cheeses, and salads – but still come back for more. The snack menu is made up of fresh, seasonal local ingredients, including juicy Dibba oysters. Another great snack is a warm octopus salad: soft potatoes and octopus-tender, easy to cut and not at all rubbery.
And of course, what Mediterranean menu can do without spaghetti vongole with clams, garlic and olive oil? We also recommend taking sea bass baked entirely in salt. The waiter finishes cooking sea bass right in front of you, and the tender fish falls off the bone. Don't like seafood? It's okay – the steaks offered here are no worse. And to them-a great wine list.
This is by far the most casual of the hotel's restaurants: there is no gold or marble in its interiors. The restaurant is located right next to the beach, so sit on the terrace and enjoy the sea views. Sometimes that's all you want. During the day, Villamoré guests have access to the beach and the Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai pool.
