In Abu Dhabi, car routes were laid through the desert
In the capital of the UAE, a new project has been launched for fans of off-road driving.
Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism has launched a new project that will allow adventurers to explore the local desert.
The project, called "Off-road in Abu Dhabi", consists of six cross-country routes in Abu Dhabi, Al-Dhafra and Al-Ain, and is intended for adventurers who decide to go on a hike or safari in the desert by their own car.
The routes under this initiative were designed with driving experience in mind and are designed for both beginners and professionals. Each route offers many opportunities for sightseeing, including camel and gazelle watching, unique views of the desert dunes, and visits to oases.
Maps of routes that include Al-Remah, from Al Ain to White Sands, Hamim Loop, Umm Al-Ocean, Liwa Crossing and Al-Hazna can be found at official tour operators, as well as on the Off-Road in Abu Dhabi web page at www.visitabudhabi.ae .
Drivers will be provided with process maps and safety instructions. Those with no experience in cross-country driving can take a training course with official tour operators, the course is designed to help them enjoy their adventures with maximum safety. Each of the routes will be displayed in the Google Maps app via a special link.
Each route involves the necessary prerequisites and recommendations, including the level of experience required, so that drivers are properly prepared for the conditions of the route and can safely enjoy their exciting adventure.
