First Shang Thai restaurant was launched in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman situated at Al Khuwair Sultan Qaboos Road by Bur Al Hickman Hospitality whereas the second Shang Thai opened in style in the early October 2011 at The Wave Muscat followed by 3rd opening in Dubai at the most prominent location Sheikh Zayed Road in June 2012 and the very recent at Muscat Grand Mall in 2013.
