UAE's biggest dairy posts 12% rise in half-year revenue
Al Rawabi Dairy Company says strong H1 performance driven by launch of new products
Al Rawabi Dairy Company, the largest UAE-based dairy company by herd size and production, has reported a 12 percent increase in revenue in the first half of 2018 compared to the same period last year.
The company, which did not give a net profit figure for the same period, said the growth was driven by strong retail performance from the introduction of a series of new products.
Dr Ahmed El Tigani, CEO, Al Rawabi Dairy Company, said: "The first half results were in line with our expectations based on our solid business strategy.
“We have grown beyond just a dairy farm to a food company with multiple product portfolios. We will continue to add more products, and markets, every year.
"We will continue investing in research and innovation and produce superior quality products in terms of safety, taste, and nutrition," added El Tigani.
Al Rawabi products include milk, yoghurts, Laban, cheese and flavoured beverages.
