Hollywood star Tom Cruise has revealed that filming on the latest instalment of the Mission: Impossible movie franchise in Abu Dhabi has been completed.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout, the sixth instalment in the spy series, was being filmed in UAE capital over the past few days.
But now Cruise has taken to Twitter to say: "Thank you to the amazing cast, crew and people of Abu Dhabi. That’s a wrap."
Written, directed and produced by Christopher McQuarrie, the new Mission: Impossible also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, and Sean Harris, who all reprise their roles from previous films.
The film, which is scheduled to be released in July 2018, is the fifth major Hollywood blockbuster to be shot in Abu Dhabi.
