The Japanese company GMO Internet represents a new blockchain the project on KYC
The Japanese firm of digital services GMO Internet has developed a new blockchain the tool allowing to work with the KYC standard (know the client).
The company has stated that the application is specially intended for use by banks when checking the identity of new clients.
GMO Internet has explained the principle of action of system in the release, having said:
"The user provides the ‘personal information’ necessary for check in body for certification, and provides the signature (is accepted only together with a key and the address) from the terminal belonging to the principal. The body for certification confirms ‘personal information of the user’, generates "value of a hash of personal information" and writes down it in a blockchain, having connected with the address of the user and with the signature".
The tool is presented in the form from open source code, and GMO specifies that it will aim to apply technology and in other subdividings, including some of identification services.
"GMO Blockchain OSS prepares for application programming for smartphones, intended for certification … and demonstration experiments in cooperation with GMO GlobalSign now — for the purpose of application-oriented use of this mechanism" — reported in firm.
The new tool – one of the last developments of the company connected with technology a blockchain since several months ago the company has opened the cryptocurrency exchange in Japan and I have announced plans of creation of service of a cloudy mining. As it was reported earlier, GMO – the joint stock company founded in the 1990s plans to spend tens of millions of dollars in the next months for construction of the cryptocurrency mayningovy enterprise in the north of Europe.
