Alicia Keys confirmed as final Dubai Jazz Festival headliner
15-time Grammy Award-winning artist will perform on February 22 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre as part of annual jazz festival
US singer-songwriter Alicia Keys has been confirmed as the third and final headliner of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival in 2019.
The 15-time Grammy Award-winning artist will perform on February 22 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, her fourth time performing in the UAE.
She will close three nights of Dubai Jazz Festival next year following Northern Irish rock band Snow Patrol who will perform on February 20, and British jazz-funk band Jamiroquai who will perform on February 21.
The announcement comes just days after the festival was bought from Chillout Productions by Done Events, the entertainment agency and a member of Arab Media Group (AMG).
As part of the acquisition, Done Events will organise, operate and manage the popular festival beginning from the 2019 edition.
The Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival was established in 2003 and has sold over 500,000 tickets during this time.
While the line-up was initially compromised of more established jazz acts, the festival widened its remit to include artists such as Jamie Cullum, One Republic, John Legend, Sting, David Gray and Santana.
