The acting as the CEO of Al Jazeera TV company Mostef Suag has declared that the channel won't change editorial policy, despite diplomatic crisis between the Arab countries and Qatar, the Reuters reports.
The satellite TV channel "Al Jazeera" which is earlier broadcasting from Doha has been blocked on the territory of the UAE, and the authorities of Jordan have closed office of the channel in Amman. Saudi Arabia has demanded from Qatar to change immediately policy and to replace administration of Al Jazeera that broadcasting wasn't contrary to interests of Gulf States and the Arab world.
"The editorial policy of Al Jazeera will remain former regardless of the fact that occurs in this regard" — has told the agency of Suag.
The head of TV company has characterized operation of the channel as independent and professional, having noted that Al Jazeera doesn't interpose in the matter of Gulf States.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE and Egypt on Monday announced a rupture of diplomatic relations with Qatar, having accused Doha of support of the terrorist organizations and destabilization of a situation in the Middle East. The authorities of east part of Libya, Yemen, and also Maldives, Mauritania, the Comoro Islands have also declared subsequently a rupture of the relations with Qatar. With Doha have declared decrease in level of diplomatic relations in Djibouti. Senegal has recalled the ambassador in Qatar.
