Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment's second sale of 2017 to run for three days from Thursday
Nearly 1,500 shops in Dubai will offer discounts of up to 90 percent during a three-day super sale from November 23-25, organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism.
The citywide shopping event is the second of its kind to be held this year after May's super sale.
Retail giant Majid Al Futtaim announced that more than 420 of its shops will take part in the event and will be treated to "unprecedented discounts" at its shopping malls in Dubai – Mall of the Emirates, City Centres Deira, Mirdif, Me’asiem and Al Shindagha, and My City Centre Al Barsha.
It said Harvey Nichols, Zara, Diane Von Furstenberg, Armani Exchange, Charlotte Olympia, Isabel Marant, Boutique 1, Etoile La Boutique, Debenhams, Forever 21, Sacoor Brothers and Centerpoint will be among the big names taking part.
Carrefour will also have an exclusive sale of up to 90 percent off at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif and City Centre Me’aisem, the company added.
Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, managing director for Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Shopping Malls (UAE, Bahrain & Oman) said: “Once again Majid Al Futtaim in partnership with DFRE will deliver an unbeatable shopping experience and great moments for tourists and residents at its malls in Dubai.
“Previous super sales, in line with the Dubai Retail Calendar, have attracted thousands of people to Majid Al Futtaim’s shopping malls and has successfully accelerated the retail sector which has been identified as a key driver for Dubai’s tourism proposition.”
The 23rd edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival is organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism).
