Police have arrested five Asian men who used forged credit cards in jewellery shops
Ras Al Khaimah: Police have arrested a gang of five Asians who were accused of using forged credit cards to buy gold from jewellery shops in Ras Al Khaimah. police said on Monday.
Colonel Abdullah Al Munkis, director of the Criminal and Investigation Department, said police received information about the suspects looking for gold shops and using the forged cards to buy gold, which they then sold cheap in order to get cash.
Police identified the suspects and raided their residence where they seized dozens of forged credit cards. Tools and devices used in their crime were also seized. The suspects have been referred to the public prosecution.
