Emirates airline has said it expects a busy start to 2017, with close to 250,000 passengers set to pass through Emirates’ Concourses and Terminal 3 in the first three days of 2017.
According to the latest booking figures, the busiest day for the airline is expected to be Monday January 2 when a record of more than 87,000 passengers will pass through Terminal 3.
Emirates said in a statement that it is deploying extra staff to make journeys as seamless and trouble-free as possible.
Emirates also reminded customers to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before flight departure, and plan extra time to get to the airport to avoid heavy traffic expected during this period.
Passengers are requested to check in no later than 90 minutes prior to departure, regardless of class of travel to ensure minimal flight delays out of Dubai.
