APARTMENTS IN THE BURNED-DOWN SKYSCRAPER OF DUBAI ARE SOLD FOR $6,9 MILLION
At an auction sale of one of residences in the burned-down skyscraper of The Address Downtown in Dubai is complete.
At the Gulf Sotheby auction 's International Realty took place sale of apartments, among others victims during the fire which happened in a skyscraper of The Address Downtown Dubai on New Year's Eve. The amount of the transaction is estimated at 25,25 million dirham ($6,9 million).
The area of the sold penthouse constitutes 3181 sq. feet. Thus, the cost of square foot of an object approached the 7937th dirham ($2160). According to Gulf Sotheby 's International Realty, a penthouse doesn't yield to urgent real estate prices in the Districts of Mayfair of London and Tribek in New York.
The sales manager in Gulf Sotheby 's International Realty Seran George noticed that this transaction specifies still high level of credibility to a premium segment of the real estate market of Dubai.
"The high-quality residential objects located in the most significant points worldwide will always remain attractive as the investment direction and the residence. Being the bonus center? Downtown Dubai attracted a great number of buyers […] In spite of the fact that the penthouse in Address Downtown Dubai suffered in the fire, it was purchased by the buyer from the Middle East who estimated long-term investment appeal of the apartment," — Seran told.
