Abu Dhabi Municipality to distribute iftar meals to workers
ABU DHABI // Abu Dhabi Municipality will serve iftar meals to 7,000 workers throughout Ramadan.
The municipality said on Sunday that it has launched a charitable initiative, Fasters Breakfast, to provide iftar meals funded by municipal employees to workers in Mussaffah.
The drive is a part of the Year of Giving initiative, launched by the President Sheikh Khalifa, to take place throughout the year.
Iftar meals will also be distributed during the holy month to cleaners and traffic personnel at Madinat Zayed Centre.
The campaign is aimed at encouraging the community to do acts of goodwill and instil principles of social solidarity, the municipality said.
