The car swerved, flipped and rolled several times at 11.45am, killing the driver on the spot.
Colonel Ali Rashid Bin Awash Al-Yamahi, Director of the Department of Traffic and Patrol at the General Directorate of Fujairah Police, said: “The young Emirati died while he was driving his car on the road from Ras Al Khaimah to Fujairah.”
Lt Colonel Saeed Mohammed Al Hassani, Head of Information and PR at Fujairah Police, said: “Initial reports show the motorist was driving a Nissan Patrol at high speed and it’s unclear whether the deceased was wearing a seatbelt.”
