Falcon display
Falconry has been practiced in the Middle East for centuries and is especially important and close to the hearts of people in the UAE, whether they are rich or poor. Considered as a rite of passage for Emirati boys, falconry is also a sport that was beloved by H. H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan who believed that it teaches endurance, strength, and patience.
Known as “al qanas” in the local dialect, Qasr Al Sultan would like to invite you to have a first hand look at these majestic birds, marvel at the skill and deftness of their trainers and take in the masterful sport of falconry.
The falconry display is open to visitors of all ages, to experience first hand what makes it such an important part of the region’s culture.
